About
About IELTS Daily Guide
A free, independent IELTS preparation resource built for Academic test takers who want honest, practical guidance — not expensive courses.
Our Mission
IELTS Daily Guide exists because quality IELTS preparation should not cost hundreds of dollars. The information candidates need to reach Band 7, 8, or 9 is teachable — but it has been locked behind expensive courses, tutors, and paywalled platforms for too long.
We built this site to change that. Everything here is free, permanently. No sign-up, no subscription, no trial periods. Band 9 model answers, grammar guides, vocabulary banks, speaking cue cards, full Cambridge practice tests — all of it, open to anyone with an internet connection.

Our Content Standards
Every guide, model answer, and practice question on this site is written with one standard in mind: would this genuinely help a candidate improve their band score? We do not publish filler content, keyword-stuffed articles, or recycled advice. If a guide does not add real value, it does not go on the site.
All Band 9 model answers are written to the actual IELTS marking criteria — Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy — and reviewed against published Band descriptors before being added.
We update our content regularly as the IELTS format evolves, new Cambridge test books are released, and we identify gaps in existing coverage.
