About IELTS Daily Guide

IELTS Daily Guide exists because quality IELTS preparation should not cost hundreds of dollars. The information candidates need to reach Band 7, 8, or 9 is teachable — but it has been locked behind expensive courses, tutors, and paywalled platforms for too long.

We built this site to change that. Everything here is free, permanently. No sign-up, no subscription, no trial periods. Band 9 model answers, grammar guides, vocabulary banks, speaking cue cards, timed writing practice — all of it, open to anyone with an internet connection.

Every guide, model answer, and practice question on this site is written with one standard in mind: would this genuinely help a candidate improve their band score? We do not publish filler content, keyword-stuffed articles, or recycled advice. If a guide does not add real value, it does not go on the site.

All Band 9 model answers are written to the actual IELTS marking criteria — Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy — and reviewed against published Band descriptors before being added.

Everything on this site is original. Every guide, model answer, blog article, vocabulary entry and practice prompt is written in-house. We do not reproduce reading passages, listening audio, or question papers from Cambridge IELTS books or any other copyrighted test material. Our practice prompts are written in the style and format of the real exam, but they are our own questions.

If you want to practise on authentic past papers, we recommend buying the official Cambridge IELTS books from Cambridge University Press or borrowing them from your local library — that is the proper, and legal, way to access real past papers.

We update our content regularly as the IELTS format evolves and as we identify gaps in existing coverage.
